By accessing or using My Masjid, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and all applicable
Indian laws and regulations.
2. Purpose & Nature of the Platform
My Masjid is a religious digital audio platform created exclusively for mosques to:
- Broadcast Live Azan (Call to Prayer)
- Broadcast official mosque announcements
- Stream limited Imam Bayan, such as:
- Jumma (Friday) Khutbah (live only)
- Special Islamic occasions
- Religious or community-related announcements

📌 Personal, non-commercial use only
The platform also helps users to:
- View daily prayer times
- Receive Azan and prayer notifications
- Access mosque-related information
3. Intermediary Status (Legal Declaration)
My Masjid operates strictly as an “Intermediary” under:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
We only provide technical infrastructure to enable mosques to broadcast audio.
⚠️ We do not create, edit, modify, verify, endorse, or control mosque content.
4. No User Registration Policy
- No user registration or login is required
- No personal user profiles are created
- Listeners can access Azan broadcasts without sharing personal data
- Mosque administrators are onboarded offline or manually with explicit authorization
5. Prayer Times Disclaimer
- Prayer times may be based on mosque data, calculation methods, or third-party sources
- Timings may vary due to location, methodology, or updates
- Users are advised to confirm prayer times with their local mosque

6. Notifications
The app may send local notifications for Azan and prayer reminders.
Notification delivery depends on:
- Device settings
- Operating system permissions
- System behavior
Disabling notifications may limit certain features.
7. Azan Audio & Streaming Disclaimer
- Azan audio may be streamed live or from external servers
- Availability depends on network connectivity, device performance, and server uptime
⚠️ Continuous or uninterrupted streaming is not guaranteed.
Audio is provided strictly for religious and informational purposes.
8. Permitted Content
- ✅ Live Azan
- ✅ Prayer time announcements
- ✅ Jumma Khutbah (live only)
- ✅ Religious guidance related to mosque activities
- ✅ Emergency or community-related mosque notices
9. Strictly Prohibited Content
- ❌ Political speeches or opinions
- ❌ Hate speech or communal provocation
- ❌ Commercial advertisements or promotions
- ❌ False religious claims or misinformation
- ❌ Music, entertainment, or unrelated audio
- ❌ Obscene, abusive, or defamatory speech
- ❌ Content threatening India’s unity, integrity, or public order
Violations may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination
- Permanent blocking of the mosque channel
- Legal action under applicable Indian laws
10. Content Responsibility
- Mosque authorities are solely responsible for the content they broadcast
- My Masjid bears no liability for religious interpretations or announcements
- All legal accountability lies with the broadcasting mosque or Imam
11. Third-Party Services
The app may integrate third-party services for:
- Audio streaming
- Notifications
- Analytics or performance monitoring
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
My Masjid is not responsible for third-party services.
12. Content Removal & Government Compliance
Upon receiving a valid court order or government notice,
My Masjid will disable access to the concerned content
within 36 hours, in compliance with Indian law.
13. Intellectual Property
All logos, designs, trademarks, content structure, and source code
are the property of My Masjid or its licensors.
Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or misuse is strictly prohibited.
14. Service Availability Disclaimer
- Internet issues
- Device or hardware failure
- Server maintenance
- Natural or technical disruptions
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
15. Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided “as is”
- All warranties, express or implied, are disclaimed
- We are not liable for service interruptions, inaccurate data, or missed notifications
- No liability for any direct or indirect damages
16. Updates & Modifications
These Terms may be updated at any time.
